HOW HOT IS ROCKY’S HOT?
At Rocky’s Hot Chicken Shack, we pay homage to “Nashville style” hot chicken and southern soul food. We prepare our unique fried chicken to order, starting as “Plain.”
From there, we can add the spice from mild to extra hot (lots of folks just love it without the spice). Do you think you can handle Rocky’s Extra Hot spicy chicken? Trust us, it’s very hot, and we don’t recommend anyone to try it unless you already know that very hot and spicy food is something you enjoy.
Rocky’s has been described by local food critics as “addictive,” “mercilessly hot, “psychedelic” and “face-melting.” Don’t let this scare you – with or without the spice it’s just damn good fried chicken.

We recommend trying a spice level down from what you would typically order. But many people don’t listen to us and find themselves wishing they would have listened. Others who try our hottest spice level, Extra Hot, and say they could have taken their spicy chicken even hotter. To those people, we tip our hats to you. Rocky’s Extra Hot spicy chicken is a huge leap from our Plain. So if spicy chicken isn’t your thing, stay at the Plain or Honey levels. You’ll thank us later.
